Your Prominence A Poem

When you go
Where will I be?
I know what I will be feeling.
Oh yes, but the location
Will hardly matter to me.

My thoughts of you
Will be prevalent
Prevailing over other thoughts
They will be victorious
Though they were
Hardly sought.
The competition
Barely fought.
They bowed down
To your prominence.

The place, the time
Will melt away
As I dwell upon
So many things
Featuring you
And your wondrous facets.
Your words,
Your actions,
And how I deal
With all those aspects.

When I am brought back
To mundane thought
When you no longer
Hold court
I will surely be unable
To curb
My yearning
My longing
My craving
For your return.
